Tavor SAR trigger

Old Mossy Horns
After much research and agonizing over the Tavors trigger (factory 12lb) and only finding $300 -$400 trigger replacements as a fix for it. I finally managed to do a modified trigger job with only the factory trigger parts that requires elbow grease for polishing but no removing materials from the sear or the hammer and trigger engagements. Only perm mod is removal of 2.5 coils on a return spring that is a $3.00 piece should you replace it. Currently trigger is getting a consistent 4.2lb pull with a very clean break and a clear audible reset. Creep is minimal but there is still a bit of take up that you can’t avoid without a replacement trigger.
I’m working on the write up with pics still but if anyone needs/wants the details now hit me up and I’m happy to walk you through it, total bench time is bout an hour and just takes a few punches, wire snip, dremel w/ polish wheel, polish compound, and 600g sandpaper.
