Colt SAA Peacemaker in 45 LC

Has anyone reloaded or shoot the Colt SAA Peacemaker in 45 LC?
Have you ever reloaded for it with the Hornady XTP bullet and Unique?
What other bullets/powders did you try?
What factory loaded ammo would you recommend?

The first deer I ever killed with my old blued .45 Bisley was with the CCI 200gr jhp load. It was a close 25-30 yard shot and it shot through the deer. I wouldn't hesitate to use it for deer or defense.

The strength of the SAA will limit what you can safely shoot in it. Don't load for your handgun from the Ruger/modern section of your reloading manual.

Are we talking about a peacemaker model or the old SAA colts? The older colts is stay away from any hot loads and most current ammo, if I do shoot the older stuff I run cowboy loads.
