Rolling with Bat and Sue tonight. I got a dose of things to come I think. Split about 400 yards apart when I got close enough to tell. Both in a hateful clearcut. I am going to quit taking or calling my friend before I hunt. I believe if I talk to him about anything bad it comes true. I told him I was going to a 60 acre tract that has clearcut on three sides and many times they will run them out of it and up the feeder creeks before they tree. Yep, both did tonight.
It is about 6 years old and many places you have to crawl. I could drive right to the edge, Bat was 154 yards one way and Sue was 181 the other. I went Sue first and she had the meat and took care of business and then came back and went to Bat. He had it also. It was a good night.
