Turkey hunting as portrayed by hollywood

Daddy's Home 2 has mel gibson as grandfather in this sequel to walhberg and ferell's orignal dady's home movie.

There is a turkey "hunting " scene that is of course outragous in the circumstances, but surprising in it's treatment of the event. even have a push pin call in there being used.

spoiler, they actually shoot em. :) with a whole lot of humor before.

wasnt expecting that in a holiday comedy.

There was an episode of NCIS some years back which had them going into the NF looking for someone and it was so sad it was laughable. There were clusters of men, supposedly turkey hunters, wandering all over the place among all manner of parked vehicles, "hunters" wearing orange, etc. They made it look as though all you had to do was show up to what was essentially a parking lot, don your orange, grab your gun, group up and talk a mile a minute while you and your chums walked off in the woods for a short distance then picked out your choice of turkey, shot it, and then came back to the camp meeting. Ridiculous.

well this one is equally absurd in the set up but the end result surprised me given the bias hollywood has towards creature deaths. human killing no problem.
