First daylight photos of this guy. I hope he makes it. My wife said he looked like a supper or two. He spent over an hour in front of the camera eating that struggling clover. MFDC9935.jpg

For sure. Put him on the punch list in a year or two.

He'll be safe for another year or two. We've got some really nice looking 1.5 year olds on camera too. Even one born this year with around 3/4 to one inch spikes.

I bet he's not as young as you think he is. Got a good side pic?

I told my wife I thought he was older and on his way down, because of his face and brow tines, but he doesn't have a sway back or considerably larger belly than known young bucks in the area. I'll post one when I get home.

He will get there !

It'd be nice to observe him over a few years.

Cool looking buck, great brow tines!

They're pretty lengthy! Lol.

best side pic. Only one with his head up, he's facing away from the camera and has one leg up.

I won't put an age on him, but I bet that he doesn't get much bigger than that.

Sky hawk, I believe you're on to something. Here he is compared to a doe that was standing there a day later.
My original guess was 3.5. But now I'm not sure.

He looks to be an older deer and I don't think he will get bigger...

Thanks for your input guys. I find it harder to "age" deer I get on camera, than those other people have pics of. I guess it falls into the "would I regret shooting this one?" category.
