6mm creedmore

Any of you guys got one? Seriously thinking about going against my better judgment and adding another caliber to my stable. From what I can gather the 6mm creed is the bestest of them all....followed closely by the 243 ai.....

Bryguy, I had one built on a 700 action, with a Krieger barrel, Remington Varmint barrel. Haven't shot it yet.

There's no hype about buying a rifle that has a properly twisted barrel and readily available match ammo for less than $30 a box. It's hard to beat a sub $400 rifle that'll shoot 1/2-3/4 groups with factory ammo every day of the week.

The 22 Creedmoor will probably be out next year.

I'm a 6mm fan, have been for years. Currently building a xp-100 in 6 CM. A 15.5" 1:8 twist to spit 105's will make a neat hunting pistol, legal for deer season in Meck county.

I drank the 6.5 creed coolaid, can't justify the 6 creed

funny you should say that Travis......I cant drink the 6.5 koolaid but for some reason everything I am reading about the 6mm is it is the better of the creed cartridges with regards to high BC stuff. Like I said, trying to convince myself that I want to add another cartridge to the stable after I thinned it down to just 22lr, 223/5.56 and 308............

Nothing at all wrong with the 6 creed, when I got set up for 6.5 parts and ammo availability was far superior and to get a 6 creed you were looking at a special order from a back logged custom shop, and forget about ammo. Even still I thought about getting a 6cm just cuz but decided that with a 300wm, 50bmg, 338lm, 308, and 6.5cm my precision rifle wheel house is full

It meets the legal definition of a pistol and was told by a WRO that as long as I'm outside city limits and more than 900' from an occupied dwelling, it's a legal weapon. Steve at Apache in N. Wilkesboro builds em, he's been at it awhile. He said that the 6CM is one of his favorites for the xp-100's. He was working on a 6.5 and 6 CM when I dropped mine off. Pretty sweet shop, he can do about any pipefitting you need, but specialises in xp-100s and precision target rifles. Builds take 10-12 months, mostly waiting on parts of your choosing, ie McMillan stock. Look him up if you're in the market for a build.

As long as you can get the proper twist the 6mm Creed would be a great rifle. I'm wanting a 243 but no one makes a factory rifle that will accurately shoot the 107 grain bullets. I have a 6.5 CM and I have to admit it is a hoot to shoot. I should have access to a 1500 yard range soon so it will be fun to see what I can get out of it.

I bought the same gun in 6.5 creed for $349 and it shoots 3/4moa right out the box with every factory load I've tried. Impressive for a budget rifle.

Everyone seems to be able to get those guns to shoot with whatever you feed them
