I've been working on the dive boat as much as I can this summer and we've had some great dives. The mantas have been hanging out on this wreck for over a week. It's my understanding they were not seen yesterday.

I wasn't quick enough with the camera for the first one.

What depth are you diving? I just started diving this year. I'm limiting myself to less than 50' dives right now to gain experience.

Pirate is correct.

Paul Hudy's website listed above is a good one to look through for NC wrecks. He dives with us quite often. If you FB, he just got back from diving with the GW sharks and has some great photos.

Mantas aren't "common" but they aren't rare either. If you're lucky you can catch one jumping in the turning basin/no wake zone at the MHC port.

Dude that's on my bucket list! Get me on the boat when you have a spot then we can go poke some holes in our dinner!
