Hope I'm not misleading or misunderstanding the original post but this looks like the current fish to me.

Edit : OK... old eyes just catching up. The 102 was a recent catch but the record is the 117 from 2016. If I didn't get it right this time I'll leave it alone.

yep it is current and 102lb. But for some reason I do not see the size compared to other 100 lb fish and also the way he is holdi g the fish out extended in his hands.

Its a big fish no matter what.

This one was longer than the other current state record bot no girth. Caught before the spawn it probably would have been 20lbs heavier. Zack has caught the state record then beat the record a day later and now has a couple 100+lb fish. Hopefully he will beat the current record soon.
