For some reason only seeing does in the food plots and bucks at the feeders.

Does are needing more protein right now,so they take over the plots...good looking herd you got there.

Nice bucks!

Thanks! Last year I reluctantly let a 9 walk. McDowell County is not known for monster bucks. Hopefully he is still around and will be something to look at this year. He was nocturnal on most of my camera pictures last year but he did give me one opportunity just before dusk one evening last fall. Hope he didn't get too much smarter over the winter!

It seems oddly like those bucks are way behind in antler growth from what I have seen elsewhere if the dates are correct. Interesting how different the development can be in different herds.

I agree. They seem well behind what others have posted here already, but that doesn't really mean anything.

That top picture is most intriguing to me. That is a deer that is way behind, but looks to be a little older than the others, and could turn into something. He's got a good start with his bases, and he's got a long way to go.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. The dates are correct it just seems like they are way behind. Have yet to see a fawn as well but I know people are posting pictures of them.
