Anyone know a farm supply or store around that has buckwheat? CPS will order some for me, just alil impatient..

Soil probably isn't warm enough yet anyway so just order it.

So later into April or about mid may? I saw where a lot of guys waited til Memorial Day to plant..but they are mostly up north.

Go ahead and order it if you can't find it locally. The buckwheat planted in mid to late May will catch the buckwheat planted in the next couple of weeks.

You can plant any time after frost,but the warmer the ground the better...id check Southern States if you got one close by.

It takes about 50 pounds per acre and deer and turkeys love it.

Thanks guys. I'm going to order a couple bags & some peas. See what kind of Biomass I get off this. Plant some rye & wheat in the fall..
