This morning I had 3 patches in a winter wheat field where a bear had been eating the wheat so I made pictures of them. When I got home I had a picture of his head on the trail camera. Just noticed I have the time set wrong by 12 hours. When the bear left the field he walked right by my new blind but didn't bother it. This bear has been hanging around in this area for months and is a large bear for this area.

In areas where they hibernate when they come out that will be the first thing they go for, if they can't get that lush grass is a close second.

I hear it's a requirement in order for them to get their body systems functioning again.

Wonder if I could hibernate like than and then start over in the spring? Predicting snow here tomorrow and Friday. Sucks.
