Ten Pointer
Just some food for thought, consider this scenario.
Five men are traveling together in a van.
#1 believes very strongly that he will go to heaven when he dies.
#2 believes in reincarnation...that he will be physically transformed into something else upon death
#3 believes that when he dies he will be resurrected here on earth at some point after his death
#4 believes that nothing will happen after death...he will just be dead, no afterlife, reincarnation, or resurrection.
#5 was raised a catholic, but is not practicing currently. he has lived an immoral and violent life, and his priest had told him unless he changed his ways he would go to hell. He had decided to change his life as soon as he turns 50. he is 49 years and 364 days old.
All 5 men are killed in an accident. What happens to each of them? Each one strongly believes in his own fate. Does it make sense that God would send one to heaven, reincarnate one, leave one and then resurrect him later, leave one alone, and say close but no cigar to the fifth and send him to hell? Will they all receive different fates? Or does it make more sense that there is one reward for all man? Does it matter what we believe?
