Mtn whitetail strategies

Camo is a hoax perpetrated on hunters by Mossy Oak et al. I've had deer walk within 20 feet of me while I was wearing an orange vest with brown duxbak!

Leaves are brown and tree trunks are gray. Something along those lines are good. Just don't wear white!!

^^ what he said, I hunted near saddles all times, since deer travel them, especially when pushed, same here as in PA or ID. Actually, elk and bear use saddles too, at least in ID they did.

In the saddle areas (and above) for these woods, what range of visibility do you have for archery and rifle? Say less than 50 yards or is it more open than that under the canopy?
