Did I mess up my clover plots?

I tilled some strips weekend before last, then seeded them this weekend. In the past, I've just let the wind & rain cover them. This time, I have a new to me 6 foot field cultivator I ran over them & I am concerned I buried it too deep. Any thoughts?

could be...clover is self drilling so too much dirt and not enough oxygen to the seed will reduce germination..big time. It's not too late yet to overcast some seed and clover will thin itself, so better to be safe than sorry.

I did the same thing a couple years ago and very little came up. I would throw some seed out on top and it should be fine....if the weather cooperates.

1/4" is the deepest to plant clover. Scattered on top of a nice seed bed is great, and even better if rolled or cultipacked.

I'd put some more seed out unless you held the field cultivator up and barely scratched the ground.
