what I was thinking,,,,,must not like duck taste.,,,

The duck is the best part, I fillet the breast and butterflied them and stuffed them with cream cheese and jalapeños, the bacon is just the to keep the duck from drying out. I like the duck rare. It was delicious.

and my bacon well done

hope you enjoyed the meal!!

Yeah a dried out well done duck is worthless. But hard to put on a hot grill (so it doesn’t cook to fast) without it being wrapped with something greasy.

do it often,,,,especially like whole ducks,,,,

anyhow,,,bacon wrapping is a favorite tradition for many - it was just in fun about "where's the duck" and the taste,,,
