So it was established here that the show has faked qualities: inflated pricing of the catch and maybe some more negatives that I have forgotten
That being said do any of you know why the show this year features entirely different crews?
Some of the past crews were fun to see.
Which side did the dumping? The fishermen or the TV producers?
Anyone know?

On Doghouses fb page he mentioned a contract disagreement with nat geo. I don’t care if its all fake it is fun to watch. Every movie we watch is fake to it doesn’t stop us from watching.

I know guys that have got real world prices between $12-$32 lb.

Quality of the fish is the biggest part of it but the quota all getting caught in a short period of time doesn't help.

I’ve never got over 10 dollars. Most of them, 4 to 6. TV show is straight BS.

Think our mate said the boats from up north were getting paid 50k an episode and the NC boats were getting 15k for the same show.
