What's your favorite album?

I was joking earlier about Taylor Swift.

Honestly, my favorite album is George Strait 50 #1s. I can listen to that over and over and not get tired of it.

I also really like Nirvana In Utero and their 1994 MTV Unplugged album.

Finally, Korn Follow the Leader. That’s my rebel album. My parents wouldn’t let me buy it, because it was explicit. I had a friend burn it for me. I still have it.

remind me to never let you meet my wife. I don’t need her making male friends.

All jokes aside, Jonathan Davis and Korn deserve their success. That dude went thru all kinds of god awful childhood trauma and still made a name for himself

Korn is my favorite band without a doubt.

Johnathan Davis is a strange individual, but considering what he had to overcome, he gets mad props from me.

Absolutely. And he deserves an extra tip of the hat because one of his members overcame heroin addiction and became “born again” and he does not allow that to be a bone of contention. They are one of those bands that scratches the teenage angst itch, and then you get older and realize how dialed in they are as musicians.

I have no favorites…. Just favorites for whatever specific period of time in my life. I love some Straight, some Alman, some General Johnson, and everything in between.

I ain’t gonna lie though… “Shine on You Crazy Diamond” from Pink Floyd on their live double album “Pulse” in the mid-90’s opened up a whole new world to me of psychedelic guitar solos. That rabbit hole eventually led me to Widspread Panics’ “Space Wrangler” album in college which in turn led me to own every album that crowd made up until a couple of years ago.

Woodmoose with an intrinsic and intuitive music vibe? I don’t believe that for a second 😉

I enjoy music,,,,

Just don’t waste time or brain space on worrying on matching songs with singers/bands,,,,

I know the name of some singers/bands that I like,,,
I know the name of some songs I like,,,,

There are relatively few that I can match song to artist,,,,

The one’s I can are just from shear (sp) repetition,,,,

Except Johnnie Cash of course,,,,,

Right on. I didn’t mean it in a bad way. That philosophy suits you

Benny Goodman’s 1938 Live at Carnegie Hall is bar none my favorite album to listen to from start to finish. Everything else is mainly just preferred artists. Tom Petty, ZZ Top, Eagles, Skynryd, insert popular southern/classic rock band here.

I like a lot of different stuff. If you listen to my Spotify you will hear David Allen Coe, Snoop, Eminem, ZZ Top, Zach Bryan, Korn, Cash, and everything in between. The other day my car play started playing apple music and the 1st some was song was Five Finger Death Punch followed by the "Learn the Books of the Bible in song".

I missed the part where we all get multiple entries…. add Grits “the art of translation”, and Nora jones “come away with me”…

but my main squeezes are Christian rock/metal:
The Showdown (any), Project 86s Omni (1&2), Extol (synergy, Gloriana), War of ages (any), Blindside (about a burning fire, silence) I could go on and on and on.

And bluegrass:
I second 1stgenhunters steel drivers selection and might add Dan Tyminskis “wheels”, most things Doyle Lawson and quicksilver and the almost obligatory Authentic Unlimited.

My music tastes are just a lot eclectic. I just can’t do music filled with f-bombs etc. Anything on this list you can share with anyone.

Anyone who likes Nora Jones has to be OK. If you like the eclectic, WSGE (91.7) out of Gaston College in Dallas, NC advertises themselves as the eclectic station and is streaming worldwide. Their signal won't quite reach Forsyth on my car radio, as I usually start losing signal about mid-Davie, (exit 168).
