Back from hunting in Va. No pics but broke out some moose backstrap for dinner the other night with a bake potato and salad. The only bad thing was nobody showed up to eat with me...... so that meant scrambled eggs and moose backstrap for breakfast the next morning..... living the ruff life in hunt camp. ;)

Next time you're at your VA spot, and have moose backstrap, I'll show up. Lol.

I'll drag the deer, too.

Bacon wrapped Deer tenderloin (the real tenderloin not backstrap!) wrapped in bacon marinated for 36 hours in sweet and spicy teriyaki marinade and then cooked to medium-medium rare served with roasted small golden potatoes with olive oil and fresh garlic!

Family is out of town. I stayed home on a staycation. Turned it into a fishcation. Kept a few smaller 10-11” eaters even though the freezer full. Just enough for a mess tonight and a mess tomorrow.
