Rubbed some brats with olive oil. I did use a brush as doing it by hand would have been weird. Anyhoo, I put some honey chipotle rub on them and put them on the pellet smoker at 200. But then the Wifey's car tire acquired a screw, so I then moved the temp to 180 and fixed the tire. After, I took an entire vedalia onion and again rubbed with olive oil (by hand, wasn't weird) and put some BBQ seasoning and a little Mango Habanero, and put in a hot pan. After flipping a few times I added some water and flipped again, cooking for more than 1 hour. Meanwhile, I cooked some minced garlic in some fresh lemon juice and added to some Dukes Mayo. I'd hit that again!

Last night was our annual Quail and Wildlife banquet. For the auction every year one of the guys has his wife make a cake and we auction it off as part of "Buffalo Trace" package. Every year I threaten to cut into it when we eat dinner before the event starts. So this year his wife made a second cake and we did cut into it and it was spectacular. She decorated it especially for me . Here is also the photo of the Buffalo Trace cake that was part of the package we auctioned off. Included a whiskey barrel table and some other things along with bottle of Buffalo Trace. It was a phenomenal cake.
