The way my last 2 hunts have been you’ll get your moneys worth but I may or may not have some flounder we can eat 🤣
Hahaha right on. We’ve got some birds around in an area with low hunting pressure. Depending on how much Tito’s and flounder we have for breakfast we might could kill a duck or treeee

we have issues over this way getting pork jowls,,, or at least where my Wife looks. She got me hooked on them (prefer them to bacon) and now, nada

I may have to drop in at Carlie C's, push ol' at @Rescue44 out of the way ( 😂 ), and see if they have any

🤣🤣 Unfortunately Carlie c's didn't have any a couple days ago. Normally I buy hog jowls at the local Piggly Wiggly . And sadly, these 2 packs at the Pig were the only 2 that were nicely layered, like bacon in a pack. The rest were a jumbled mess. And mine sure fried up nicely!! The Pig usually has nice hawg jowls. Next time I fry I'll provide a money shot.

Anyone know where you can buy good prepared horseradish? I usually have that on top of my pork for New Years. The stuff I had this time could barely light up my tastebuds. I like horseradish where a small bit of it would open up your nasal passages when you have one of the worst colds. That stuff from Kraft hardly has any fire to it.

I use inglehoffer spicy for my cocktail sauce. That way I can hide any fishyness

true wasabi has no heat (according to daughter working at sushi restaurant) Horseradish is added i believe.
All that said, I love spices wasabi on a roast. But fresh made Horseradish is the best!

I got curious about Wasabi so I googled it. I likely have eaten imitation wasabi all the times I've had sushi. Bummer.

You have unless you have been to Japan or a real Japanese restaurant here...NOT the typical hibachi.

The Wasabi you get at Food kitty is pretty good. I use it instead of horseradish on my cracker/hot sauce/cocktail/oyster combo

They sell real Wasabi at Hmart and Grand Asia Market....last I saw was $99/lb though
