Had the holy trinity of summer foods this evening. Fresh corn, okra and tomatoes. Fried cornbread on the side.

Grandson and I went fishing and kept a few nice bream,,,
cleaned them and decided to bake them,,, put in aluminum foil, seasoned, and baked for 30 minutes at 350
made some sticky rice
de-boned the fish, put in with rice, and chowed

had it for breakfast this morning,,, good stuff

if you've never baked panfish you might try it,,, could surprise you

Wife said I was half Asian from all my Asia travels,,,

Quick lunch while doing some stonework, I'm not even sure what muscle it is but a random muscle out of an aged deer ham smothered in blue cheese, man it was good.

1st attempt @ Chuck Eye Steak in the Air Fryer @ 400 degrees for about 9 min. turned 1/2 through. For you raw rare red meat lovers it was cooked approx. 3 min. too long, but for my taste maybe 1.5 min., but still absolutely delicious. Meal accompanied w/ Walmart $1.00/loaf French bread, homegrown Parks Whopper tomato, marinated mushrooms & pickled asparagus. I will be cooking steak this way in the Air Fryer for as long as this sweltering 90+ degree weather 🥵 keeps me away from the charcoal grill. Lexie liked the steak too.

I don't know,, this whole pepper crusted deer tenderloin might be better than yesterday's steak. 😁🤣
Working right next to the grill has its advantages.
