DUMP the Dang safety. ..
There is no reason to screw up a good Lever gun with a dang safety.

Being Ruger owns Marlin they will be made by Marlin.Made by marlin.
Yep I would love to see that with threaded barrel.Amen, I'd love to have a 16" trapper 1894 in 357 or 44, without the crossbolt safety
What is the one change to Marlin you want Ruger to make

lol, I don't much care for the top eject or the way the lever feels on those. Always been partial to marlins in those respects. My 1894 Trapper is just as you describe...
Of course it’s a Winchester 1894
Mine is an angle eject, but I’ll agree that the lever on the Marlins feels better to me.lol, I don't much care for the top eject or the way the lever feels on those. Always been partial to marlins in those respects.
I’m not even gonna write anything down. He got mine......A stainless inexpensive lever carbine in .350Win, .35 Rem and .450 Bushmaster. I don't care if it has an investment cast receiver as long as it comes threaded, has a decent trigger and will shoot at least 2 MOA at 100-150 yards.

I know it won’t be a hot seller, but I’d love to see the 308MX and 338MX make a comeback. Or, create a lever action similar to the BLR that can take pointed, rimless cartridges. Man I miss my BLR...
A Ruger made 99 clone would be hot. Fill the niche that the Deerfield carbines fill.
^^^^this, got a 35 Rem that was willed to me that is a real Marlin but has the safety and a 357 Mag I got last fall. I just dont use the safety. I use them just like My Win 94. Half cock and thats it.Put some quality back into production. Elimination of the 'mystery wood' stocks would be a good start. Safety does not bother me, you don't have to use them.
My XS7 308 is the most accurate rifle ive ever shot. I wish I had 5 just like it.The XL7 and XS7
I haven't forgotten. When and if I decide to get rid of my 32-20 you have the first shot at it.bring back the 1894 in 25-20,,,,
still kicking my own arse for not buying two back in late 80s,,,,one in 25-20 and one in 32-20
