That imr4350 load is the ticket!!Loaded up two different powders to try with the Nosler 95gr BT. They’ve never let my brother down, and I’ve never used them for deer. Imr4350 will probably win the match up View attachment 157532View attachment 157533
Nice group, looks like the rifle likes it!
Where are you scoring all those components for Grendel?Bought 8lbs of Tac, mostly for 6.5 Grendel, but it’ll handle 223’s too. Also picked up some 120 Nosler BT’s for the Grendel.
Tac was from a contact at crow shooters supply. 120 bt’s were sports south if I recall correctly? Based on per bullet price though I’d be buying SST’s or Sierra TGK’s in the 120-123 class.Where are you scoring all those components for Grendel?
Always used 120gr Sierra gks over 7828. Will be moving to 115 Bergers since those game kings are now discontinued. Killed a slew of stuff with em and they always performed.Loaded up several batches of 25-06 with 110 accubonds and Retumbo. Gonna find a load that will shoot and will be a good deer load.
Those 120's are scarce!!Tac was from a contact at crow shooters supply. 120 bt’s were sports south if I recall correctly? Based on per bullet price though I’d be buying SST’s or Sierra TGK’s in the 120-123 class.
I’ve been shooting 117 hornady BTSP with IMR 4831 and really have no complaints. I like the accubonds in everything else so I bought some to see how they shoot. Also found some 120 Speer hot cor. So far this has become my favorite caliber.Always used 120gr Sierra gks over 7828. Will be moving to 115 Bergers since those game kings are now discontinued.
