It is very generous of you to offer. My church group of men are going to try and get together tomorrow to help our elderly & other members with storm cleanup, but logistics are going to be a nightmare. I feel for Dan (UncleFester) in the coming days. He is on storm duty with Duke. I don’t know when I will see him or get my damage cleaned up.I signed up for them as well, no operation in NC at the moment. Maybe tomorrow.
They may not call me, I'm Presbyterian and listed it on the sign up sheet.
We were doing a project with the Baptist men in 2004 up in Clyde. Land slide excavation, by hand, couldn't get equipment in there...If you told them you drink but, keep it quiet, you're in !
I actually wondered about the New River campgrounds earlier today. Having been there for multi days, and knowing cell signal is weak, I wondered. But I would think that surely the Wardens would hammer the campsites days ago and let everyone know of the impending doom. If not close all campsites a couple of days ago?New River full of campers floating away
Talked to one of my buddies that live in Asheville, he had people asking for supplies at 11am this morning. Gonna get real quickly.Sure the Woke Community of Asheville has it under control.
Presbyterian...They may not call me, I'm Presbyterian and listed it on the sign up sheet.
Would also be happy to make a financial contribution.Prior commitments will not allow me to go in person but if someone is going I can make a financial contribution to your expenses and or supplies.
Glad you are ok, I would say call me if you need something, but I do not have cell or wi-fi.I'm neck deep in it up here just like everyone else. But I'm doing fine. Prayers sent out to everyone. We're going to need them. This may take awhile.
Glad you are ok buddy we were wondering about ya.I'm neck deep in it up here just like everyone else. But I'm doing fine. Prayers sent out to everyone. We're going to need them. This may take awhile.
Got word they are safe. Not sure the extent of damage they have. Might be a couple of days before I can speak with them.Damn. Hope he’s ok. I did a lot of hardscaping up there in Chunns Cove. Keep us posted
Heck, that won't matter, why even the Baptists and Methodists are speaking to each other in the liquor stores these days. They may not call me, I'm Presbyterian and listed it on the sign up sheet.
I'm just glad he made the decision without a motion, a second, and a quorum vote...Heck, that won't matter, why even the Baptists and Methodists are speaking to each other in the liquor stores these days.
Good news.Got word they are safe. Not sure the extent of damage they have. Might be a couple of days before I can speak with them.
Thanks brother, we're still surveying the damage right now and it's significant. I'll be surprised if places aren't out of power for multiple weeks but idk. I'll be in touch@SnowMaker ,@Ol Copper ,@turkeyfoot and anyone in that area let me know what anyone needs. A few of us coastal bear hunters are discussing heading that way next weekend to do anything we can.
Glad you are ok, I was just typing a PM to check on y’all. Thanks brother, we're still surveying the damage right now and it's significant. I'll be surprised if places aren't out of power for multiple weeks but idk. I'll be in touch
