Waterfowl Hunting Coastal Wilmington

Anyone on here happen to hunt the saltwater marshes around Wilmington/Surf City. I am a somewhat experienced duck hunter and have hunted around here the past 2 or so years and have not seen much besides mergansers and the occasional teal that refuses to decoy. Any one around the area have success? I usually hunt in Richs Inlet or just South of the Surf City bridge. Let me know!

That particular area is not known as a duck mecca, not saying they wont be around. There are guys around Wilimington that do well but put in hours of scouting and have access to private land as well. You would be better off traveling further north. Id be careful in the Surf City, Rich's inlet area. Make sure youre not inside the city limits, they can extend further into the marsh than you think.
