So I just scored the 3 moa version from my local pawn shop for $95 otd. Missing the mount but have one on the way for $14. My choices for install are... an older light weight H&R factory chambered 357 Remington Maximum rifle, a 410 single shot, and a 20 ga single shot. These seem to be popular on 410's, but wondering about accuracy potential for the Maxi as a woods gun??

The 357 Rem Max will take deer at 100 yards easily, and I wouldn't be afraid to at 150 yards power wise if it grouped well. The 357 Mag with a 158 gr bullet is in the 1700's, the 357 Max will do that with a 180 gr bullet.

^^^The venom is everything you need for that.

I’ll prolly add one to the Henry big boy 44 that’s sitting in the safe.
ive found a lot of deer in 10 year old cut overs up here. The 44s and the 450 are gonna get a workout up here.

I regret selling my 44 mag Ruger Deerfield. With 240 gr XTP's it was a dang deer hammer.
