Venison ground formed bacon

This is some bacon that I made this week from a buck my grandson got last week. It is 50% ground venison 50 % ground pork shoulder , seasoned with a kit from Curley"s sausage kitchen that I added some maple syrup to and smoked . I had made some a couple of years ago and he requested that I make some along with a run of summer sausage , burger, country sausage and stew meat for him. I think it came out real good.
