Turkey hunting weather

It seems to me the weather down here in southeastern NC has been terrible for turkey hunting. Last week there were high wind advisories nearly every day and the wind is here again this week along with heavy rains. I know they are more likely to be in fields when it's raining but is that true in a constant downpour?

Yes, constant downpour they are out in fields, it's about being unable to hear or see in the woods, atleast they can see in the fields downpour or not. I can go see some in fields right now, it's just not gonna be my most enjoyable type of hunt, so I will try him tomorrow morning.
