If you could plant anything you want for turkeys? What would you plant? I’ve only ever tried clover and they tore it up. Anyone ever try chufa? I heard that bout trumps them all

Clover bc in my eyes it’s a year ‘round food source.

Clover and chuffa , best of both worlds. 25 Contender would be the member to get the skinny on this topic though.

Clover....
Chufa plots have to big cause they will tear a small one up in days.

Chufa is by far king when it comes to attractong turkeys but like Jug said unless you got lot of it you'll be left with scratched up dirt by time season starts they won't quit till its gone. A nice clover orchard grass mix plot makes for perfect strut zones especially if located in right spot and left unpressued till season starts

Chufa by far!...….gota plant 20% xtra for the coons.
We used to shoot the canon nets over chufa patches for relocating turkeys to all NC counties, back in the 80's. Helping Mike Seamster our state turkey biologist.

If your looking for best turkey plot chufa is by far the best. But it has its down side as well.

Clover is one of the best all around food plots and probably the best bang for your bucks
