Trout season

Lost four yesterday. One due to broken line! The others idk where I went wrong. Maybe a weak hook set? Went backpacking and fished a bit on the way. Mostly dodging people and thunderstorms. Fwiw they seemed to hit my crappie jigs okay.

Lololololol. Friend of a friend saw a group throwing a cast net on Wilson’s creek yesterday. We laughed and laughed. It amazes me the things that people do.

I kid you not, when we camped last year for the delayed harvest opener, there was a Hispanic guy with snorkel gear, fins and a hand spear spear fishing deep holes. He had several trout strung up to his belt. I was amazed and laughed so hard....

I did that as a kid in Adirondacks but wild trout always too fast. Too young to know legality or even what a season meant for any fish/game.
