Trout fishing guide

I'd like to take my son trout fishing for his 17th birthday but I know nothing about trout fishing. We have talked about going for a few years but it hasn't worked out. I'm not a man of means but I figured it would be best to pay a guide than try to figure it out on our own. We do fish quite a bit so we aren't complete fishing noob's. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Cherokee has some great trout fishing. Catch and keep as well as a trophy fly fishing catch and release only section. They stock the streams twice a week. Permit for the catch and release is $10/person. Trophy waters were a bit more.

River's Edge Outfitters is located in Cherokee,

I haven't used them but I've talked to them at their store they fish in and around Cherokee.

My son and I caught a dozen in the catch and keep section on Wednesday. They seemed to like the florescent orange power bait trout nuggets. I guess it helped that the stocked the spot while we were fishing.

Several videos on YouTube on fishing Cherokee.

@tk26 used to guide and knows a fine one, one so good he put my SIL on a rainbow and a brown of a lifetime in one trip.
How about it tk, can you help, his name escapes me. I just know where he lives. :)
If you are looking for a guide look up Fontana Guides. I used to guide with Kyle, and he is a great guy that can put you on some big trout. He fishes in the Dillsboro/Bryson City area.
