Oh fo sho. He’s always got a good recipe up his sleeve. But it’s not official unless he takes a pic where his hand is pointing at the meal
 
I sure was missing the trip and seeing everyone. I missed everything about it.
Just couldn't justify the risk of me going with the problems of late.
I've been following along and enjoying the pics. Glad everyone had a good time and got home safe !
I know the food was epic.
@Ol Copper , I'm glad you mentioned me, buddy. I sure did miss all of ya'll.
 
Sure felt good to get a shower and flush the funk away. As usual, had a great time, caught some fish with the help of my hook replacement pit crew (long story), great food and fellowship.

Enough can't be said in praise of Turkeyfoot, Ol Copper, Bartender Bob, Woods and Water, Uncle Fester and others for the work and expense incurred to assure that everyone had a great time. You all made sure that this old timer was taken care of and for that I love you, one and all! Thanks for caring!

The only reply that I can think of to write is that, Ron it is absolutely our pleasure !
You add so much to our camp and we think the world of you.
We all look forward to many more campfires shared.

'Enemy Within'....

We arrive at our first spot at 11:30am. Ron/Blackwater heads off to sit down and wait till the kids only period at noon ends...

Turkeyfoot, Bartender BBQ Bob and I put our gear together then head down the path. On the way Enemy Within.... I mean Turkeyfoot says... 'We can go ahead and fish, we just have to release them all until noon.' Then proceeds to wade out into the water. I'm thinking Cool... start baiting up with a crawler. Enemy Within said OHHH it's gotta be artificial only. Bob tosses me a pink garlic worm being the nice accommodating fella he is. I hook it on then Turkenemywithin says Hey it can't be scented.... Bob tosses me an orange unscented worm. Great I'm good to go.... I make ONE cast and immediately get hung on the bottom. I look over my shoulder and here comes Mr. Green Jeans.... ALL OF YOU GIVE ME YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE, YOU CAN'T BE FISHING at all till NOON! TFEW says 'I thought we could fish, just had to release them!' Green Jeans shuts that down, says he'd introduce us to the Regulations. TF says 'It's My Fault' The whole time Green Jeans keeps asking over and over had we caught any fish. Multiple NO's later he says he's going to give us a warning ticket each. TF walked to the truck with Green Jeans while me and Bob are laughing and talking. He asks me if I've got any warrants.... not that I know of! Green Jeans comes back and hands Bob my ticket and DL. I'm like that ones mine, Bob says yeah he's the one with warrants. Suddenly Green Jeans grabs me....

Green Jeans was cool as he could be. He told us to frame the pink slips. At 11:49am he wishes us well, let's us know to not do that crap again....

AFTER it was noted there's no fine TF says he'd have paid them all... 😉

Edit: Green Jeans let it be known if we'd caught a fish it would have been citations not warnings.

Apparently it came out that TurkeyEnemyWithinFoot and that particular Green Jeans fella had an extended conversation earlier that morning about turkey hunting and had basically setup the ability to hook up and go...... 🤐

So on the delayed harvest “opener” no adult can fish til 12, regardless what of what using?
Was yall at Wilson? Congrats on a nice catch!

As a man that made a living skirting the law for a long time, my professional opinion is that you hire Dale Varnum for sound representation and advice

I'm prepared for taking it on chin for this one for the long haul good thing I got really thick skin don't see it letting up soon😁
