Sue got her Haloween treat tonight. Took her and Bat and I had a quick one. I hunted a 180 acre tract and part of it has been clearcut about 6 years ago. I usually let them out soon as I get on the property and just let them road in front of me going in to I get about in the middle where I set to they hunt the place out or tree.
To I got where I usually set I cut the Mule off and I could hear Sue screaming. She was 240 yds and and just smoking off the yards. I immediately suspected the worst but really had no reason to. I was setting there with my finger on the aaaaaaan't button telling myself the whole time that I had promised myself years ago no correction to I could prove trash. About the time I was really getting nervous at a little under a half mile she pulled up treed.
Got to her and she was on a big den. I figured that was that but the coon had went right by two big holes and was all the way in the top looking down. He won't make that mistake again.
