Trapping and deep snow?

We got like 12-14 inches of snow here and when I went to check my trap line, I had a coon in my DP trap but my 550 dirthole sets are all under deep snow.

I wondered if they would even work under such deep snow?

Should I:

a) leave the sets alone. The target critters will find them through any snow?
b) shovel off some snow to expose them?
c) re-bait/lure and clear out the dirtholes?

My limited experience with deep snow like you have along with bitter cold has not been good for catching critters. I had around 40 traps out when we had 10" in Jan and it did not get above freezing for almost a week. The snow never melted on the top during the day so it never crusted over. I figured most critters would be moving looking for food. I was amazed at the lack of tracks in the snow. Nothing moving but deer for the most part.
