Here is a few from the last few days in spite of the nasty weather and mud.

21 lb. tom with a typical cat attitude.

52 lbs. of unhappy beaver and no pic of the 40 lber 2 day later.

Trap was not in the water but it was close. The 10' pre-hooked drag gave her room to get in plenty of water but not in the main creek channel.

Prune, that cat this morning was caught in a step down dirt hole set that was completely under water yesterday. Water was about an inch below the lip of the dirthole and the trap another inch higher. But even though the trap had been completely submerged, that wax sand it was bedded in was bone dry.

Yes sir cant beat waxed sand, peat moss or buckwheat hulls all have there place..yep have a had a few holes full if water but some how they're working...

Dang Harold I'm envious of your fun but wouldn't begrudge you a single moment of it. Hope the good catches continue. Be careful out there. I hear "Cats" are the most dangerous (apt to have rabies).
