The end of a long season

Ten Pointer
2018 was one of the toughest, maybe the toughest I have had in 19 years of hunting. I have put in over 70 hunts from October 1st on (my season didn’t open until then). I finally got an opportunity at a good buck on January 2nd. The weather in Iowa has been horrendous...snow in October and 60 degrees in January during “late season”. The deer movement has been extremely inconsistent. But I finally made it happen on a 141” buck. Now the prep for 2019 begins

Button Buck
Nice buck. I have to agree with you about it being a tough year. First year in several years that I did not shoot a deer. I saw a few young bucks but just not anything I wanted to shoot.
