This morning we were catching largemouth one cast, stripers and trout on the next using the same Gulp bait! On the Neuse River side at the mouth of Dawsons Creek, 30 minutes from the sound.....

Lol, man it was! I believe I've done just about enough hurricaning for one week. Today was the 8th day without power and it was on when I got home.......

We have caught a lot of striper right there, just before daylight breaks. Baitfish will stack up right off the bridge and stripers will be busting them. As soon as it breaks light, the baitfish move off and the bite stops.

Good to see someone catching fish again down east. I was wondering how much freshwater rainfall and flooding would impact saltwater/brackish water fishing.
