A buddy and I live trapped a very large male raccoon and kept him in a cage for a while when I was in HS. We used to put on a pair of long sleeve welding gloves and pick him up. That dude was always pissed off and it was like holding one of those shake weights that had been modified with a small block V8.
My dad made us turn it loose when he found out we were picking it up and seeing who could hold it the longest.
