Anyone have these? Any real world reviews?

Looking at them they seem amazing.

Do not have any real hearing loss that would be abnormal for a 55yr old man - but have issues with direction.

Looking at the Turkey specific - Custom Shields.

Thoughts?

Thanks

I have them and can say that they are a game changer for me but I have pretty bad hearing especially in my left ear which makes direction of the sound difficult. I bought the alpha shields first then traded them in for the custom shields this winter. They are expensive but what's it worth to you to hear again? I feel like I'm back in the game again. Heard a gobbler drum for the first time in years last spring! The ability to have volume control is the reason for going with custom shields.

I’ve had them for about two years. I love them. No hearing loss but wanted to keep it that way. I had mine built with 3 modes range, waterfowl and turkey. Thinking about upgrading to the rechargeable ones and letting my son have these

Do you have any sense of direction with them. That’s what I have always struggled with. If I can’t tell where the sound is coming from I twitch and move all over the place trying to figure out where it comes from.

What kind of battery life are you getting out of replaceable batteries? Rechargeables claim 80+hrs on a charge - seems to good to be true

The batteries will last 2 days of hunting. If I put new batteries in today, at the end of the hunt I’ll take the batteries out because they don’t have an off switch. Use same batteries same way tomorrow and they are done. If I go shoot a round of clays today, I’ll have to use new batteries next time I use them as they seem to die whether being used or not.
