Our Ocracoke trip got busted due to Dorian and we are looking a place around Hatteras and the family like a spot in Avon. I’ve fished the Hatteras point but never in the Avon area, any insight?

NE wind typically. 34 and 38 produce. That’s still a little early for consistent drum up there, but possible, even thought they’ve been catching on avon pier.
