I have several. Kiosks are everywhere now to use silencer shop. Service is suspect some, and great some. Alex at Ed’s gun shop in Vass is very good and will have you through the process quickly. They have a good selection of suppressors. If you’re hunting and frugal, the silencer co harvester Evo is hard to beat. If you want full auto rated, there’s a ton to choose from all float around $1100 ish. Silencerco, Thunderbeast, Dead Air, Hyperion, etc. all make great cans.

I've bought three. I bought all three of mine through Silencer Shop but used different physical FFLs for transfer and pickup. Best is subjective depending on what you plan to use it on, budget, rate of fire, concerns about weight/length, etc. Would need more details to really recommend one.

I love the Harvester EVO but they discontinued it this year so if you want to go that route you'll have to call around to FFLs and see if anyone has one left in stock. They are replacing it with the Omega 300 DT which is scheduled to be released this year.

Bummer… there were several at Ed’s a month ago. Maybe I need to make a trip.

Good to know. I a buddy of mine is looking as well. Gun Locker in Sanford has one left in stock also.

The EVO is just an excellent suppressor for the price and the fact it comes with two mounts just makes the package even better.
It is my favorite package this far, and I’ve handled most of silencerco rifle cans. For price and function, it’s great. I guess they lower skus this way. With the lighter direct thread mount, the omega matches the evo in weight, so there’s no real downside as long as the price is comparable.

Silencer shop shows they should be similar price at $599 but only shows it'll come with one mount not two.

Got mine and the wife's through Triangle Shooting Academy. They let you shoot it at their range while you wait. As far as good .30 brands go, CGS is at the top, with Silencerco, Rugged, Q, and Aero Precision being very good as well. Silencershop makes it all a breeze to buy:

Other places outside of Silencer shop that are good are Ecco Machine and Rex Silentium. Very affordable with solid warranties. And Hansohn Brothers have a 30% off code (rex30) on their Rex suppressors currently. https://hansohnbrothers.com/shop/?_sft_product_brand=rex-silentium&_sft_product_cat=silencers

Whatever you do, stay away from Dead Air like the plague right now. They just destroyed their customer service department and are suffering from a big recall/ debacle over one of their 5.56 suppressors.

I’d look at thunderbeast. I have a surefire that I really like and a deadair sandman L I haven’t even shot. The thunderbeast Magnus is my next and seems to be the quietest

Also If you are looking for quietest, check out the Pew Science rankings. They have a super easy chart to use to compare performance at the muzzle and the ear:

They are the reason I recommend CGS, specifically the Hyperion

I ordered mine from Silencer Central after talking with a few guides in WY. I narrowed my search down to the TBAC magnus and Banish 30 gold. Placed my order in Mid Dec 2023 and delivered to my house in early May 24. Seamless process and I had them put the suppressor in a trust.
