Had a great time at the United Blood Trackers Trackfest event at the Gordon Field Trial Grounds in Southern Pines this weekend. We met lots of great people and dogs from all over the country and Canada, and learned a lot about the art of blood-tracking with dogs from the experts of UBT. And I was extra proud of the way my wife handled our dog Shadow during the practice runs on Sat & Sun, ending with successfully completing a 400 yard blood track on Monday. Our dog is now certified as a UBT-Level I blood tracking dog. And a big kudos to fellow forum member NCH-Tracker, who played a big part in getting the UBT to come to NC to put on this event.
