Steel Targets!

Looking to buy a steel target. Not wanting to break the bank so Im looking for a deal. Something that can handle a 357 mag round. What are yalls reccomendations?

Midway had some on sale not long back. I picked up several from 4" at 10$ and a few 6 and 8" around 18 to 20$
I mounted chain and use the T post with bracket to hang them.

If all you are shooting at them is pistol cartridges, 1/4” AR500 would be fine probably. Might as well buy 3/8” and open your options up some.
I shoot a fair amount of steel; mine are all 3/8 or 1/2.
The T post hangars Mr.Gadget linked are about as easy and simple as it gets.

Something in 3/8" AR 500 is what I'd go with. I've bought from several Ebay sellers and Midway too. Have shot them with everything from .22lr to .270 & .308 with no issues.

Some people are lucky many times. But it is the one time that can get you.

You would be hard pressed for time, driving and looking fo beat 8$ ar500 steel plate. It would cost me more thsn that to drive to a scrap yard.

Yeah that's a good deal. I also see 2nds on ebay from time to time for a good deal.
