Squirrel Hunting Firearm Restrictions?

Planning on hitting Jordan Lake Game Lands tomorrow for a squirrel hunt. It will be my first time. I heard a rumor that rifles were not allowed on game lands. Does anyone have any knowledge of this? Also curious if there are any kind of ammo limit for .22s or is a plug needed for a shotgun.
Thanks!

The regs digest is your friend, no plugs in your shotgun for small game except migratory game. As to rifles on GL that is also incorrect. But there may be some with certain restrictions and you will have to research that one yourself. No magazine capacity limit for .22s or otherwise.

Everyone I did google and looked through the following links and found no such information before posting. I think I'm good to go here. I was mostly worried about a 25 round mag for 10-22. Thanks for your help!

I hope he saves the last round for himself it that happens!

@KEVLAR TV You'll may find it much easier to slip through the woods with a flush fitting 10rd magazine and save the 25 rounder just in case you find a covey. :)

This was my exact thought. I only have 2 mags for my 10-22. I would use my 10 rnd mag unless I really needed the backup mag.

We provided the dogs for some squirrel hunting videos several years ago. Some of the guys had 25 round magazines and needed them but they were shooting at squirrels timbering. That ain't my cup of tea but made for exciting video.
