gonna cause the best rut activity sightings in recent memory when it "breaks" from this warm spell. Mark it down. :)

Well the long range ens has a member that already has the first fantasy in early Nov......this is probably way way off but the longish range pattern looks cooler to cold at least early, with a strengthening La Nina winter SHOULD ( we all know how this goes ) be warmer and dryer than average....

I have to ask…

What happened to the 🚨 Going to be a another bad Hurricane Season 🚨 ?

It has been an active hurricane season. Luckily the MDR development had a clear path out to sea so no major east coast threats. We've had a high number of storms and US impacts this year especially for the NE.

This model has time stamps to show when the forecast is for.

Active is one, they predicted many apocalyptic storms.

Perspective. For those in the NYC area that saw some of their worst flooding ever and parts of Louisiana that were hit by Ida this was their worst seasons in ages.

For once quit being a egocentric spin jockey.

Perspective has nothing to do with it, the media sensationalizes hurricanes as ‘global warming’. The point is the storms were not worse nor were the numbers of storms that bad. As the years go by populated areas are more affected because of their own increase in poorly planned infrastructure. Dirt absorbs moisture, concrete and buildings do not.

Perspective of apocalyptic storms would be more Katrina’s, more Harvey’s, more Fran’s all in one season.

We are way above normal for the season with 20 named storms already. We've had 7 hurricanes and 4 majors. Luckily most of the storms that reached that intensity did not hit the USA. This has been a very active year compared to normal.

As far as the global warming aspect goes. We'll we had the strongest late season storm in the Central Atlantic since records started. Why do you think that is?

What time is OOZ? I need for it to clear out at 4 o’clock in Alamance county LOL

Zulu is 6 hrs ahead under daylight saving time I think ( maybe 5 ) so 00Z is 18/1900 ( 6/7 pm) aka too late lol......

Latest shows a solid 20 degree temp drop with the front...little sooner too more like 4/5 pm for MBY anyways....

Because in 2002 they lowered the threshold for named storms therefore allowing subtropical systems to be named.

Aside from more funding and better studying of Tropical Systems, Two Decades of new statistics compared to the entire 20th Century and before 🤷🏼‍♂️ Small small small sample.

Enjoy these cool nights because it appears a warmup is on tap, back to 80 by the weekend, then a extended warm period with 80-85 possible next week before another cool down to end the month.....hopefully some of the longer range stuff to a cool Nov, especially the second half holds up.
