since you brought it up (oh so often) so I've always been curious,,, what is the definition of a "real turkey hunter"? asking for a friend,,,

tell your friend that it's a tricky question.
One of those "eye of the beholder deals". His idea is as good as any as to what constitutes a reall turkey hunter.
The only absolute trait that seems to be common in " real turkey hunters " (imo) is that they will never describe themselves in those terms.
As I said the other day you can talk with someone about five minutes and figure it out based on your idea of a real turkey hunter.
