Whats for dinner?
Always good to have some deer waiting for you at home.
Smoked some last weekend and have a few pieces of it left.
About 4 hrs hot smoked. Do 4 to 5 pieces at a time and the tips and rounds have got to be the best.

It's Mr.Gadget big ass butt rub.
I can get you a mix.

It has CG black pepper
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Ground red pepper
Chili powder
Sea salt
White pepper
Smoked paprika
Adobo
Cajon
Last two can be dropped and up others like the red pepper and chili and white pepper more.

I do not cook to temp never have. Cooked all my life. All by feel and looks.

It cooks about 3 to 4 hrs on a webber over charcoal and wood chips. My favorite is maple for deer.
It cooks at about 200 to 250 some spikes higher. I use kingsford on one side and place the meat around the outside of the cooler end. I hit with wood chips on charcoal every 30 min to 1 hr or as needed. It is one of the big webbers and I can control the heat and smoke with the bottom and top vent. I close it from time to time to extend the charcoal so I don't add more or get too hot.

Hope this helps. I will try to get a weight or mix as close as I can. Do it in batches and don't really measure it just by taste and looks.
