My new TC .50 today.

This was my last 3 shot group at 100 yds. 150 gn pyrodex pellets and a 250 gn spire point sabot. I’ll take it.

Between every shot and real good once I got home. Not my favorite

It might shoot a little more consistent if you let it get a little dirty....but just a little. Not too much...oh...too much....time to clean it again. Sorry.

Did you try two pellets? A lot of personal reviews (and recommendations) out there showing shots are tightened up with only 2 pellets.

I did - it actually tightened up and grouped better with three. They’re all within 1.5” so
I’m confident I’ll be just fine for what hunting I’ll be doing with it. Could have tightened it up some but I was running out of primers . Not a super high quality scope either.

Personally I wouldn't use pellets at all. Loose powder burns more evenly and can't get crushed.

That’s what I hear - I may make the switch over at some point and see how they do. Just getting back into muzzleloading so I’m tryin to keep it simple to start.

That is the smart thing to do. What you're shooting now will kill a deer every time. Enjoy it!!

You can’t put loose powder in upside down either….
