This guy did a series on guns, chokes, ammo, etc.......................some really good info. I would LOVE to film some of my buckshot handloads.

Looks like your average duck will move about a half-foot while the shot string passes, based on rough assumptions...

Shot string length - feet10Feet
Shot Velocity1,400Feet/Second
Shot string impact time0.0071Seconds
Duck Speed40Miles / Hour
Duck Speed - FPS59Feet / Second
Movement during shot string5Inches
Shooting Range40Yards
Shooting Range120Feet
Shot Velocity1,400Feet/Second
Shot flight time0.09Seconds
Duck Speed59Feet / Second
Duck movement during shot flight5Feet

No wonder! I have not been adding 5" to the 5' of lead already needed at 40 yards. Explains why I always shoot behind them .

at 16:40 it looks like that feller just recorded some stars in the night sky as he moved the camera and put white lines on the screen.

The whole shotgunning series that Surviving Duck Season has been doing has had a lot of good info, but I found the newest video exceptionally interesting
