S curves on the Roanoke river

Where are the S curves? My cousin says they are just down from the ramp but I'm not sure. Are they up there or just down below the power lines?

What we have always called the S curve is a little ways down past the power line. I guess the first curve leaving the ramp in Weldon could be called an S curve......before you get to the long straight away at the big rock.
